A diploma in medical engineering is three year course designed to equip future medical engineers with theoratical and practical skills in repair, maintenance, management, and designing of medical equipements.

KMTC Requirements for diploma in medical engineering
To be eligible for enrollment, you need to meet the following requirements.
- A KCSE mean grade of C plain or above.
- At least C plain in English/Kiswahili
- At least C minus in in Mathematics
- At least C minus in in Mathematics
- D plus or above in Technical drawing, electricity, chemistry, biology, or metal work
