Diploma in nutrition and dietetics requirements & campuses
A diploma in nutrition and dietetics is a three-year course aimed at training highly qualified community nutritional technologists and technicians in managing and treating nutritional disorders, malnutrition, assessing patients’ dietary needs, educating the public on matters of nutrition and more.
As a nutritionist and dietitian, you can work as a clinical nutritionist in hospitals, clinics, and private practice or go into public health and community health programs, food safety and regulation, sports nutrition, and more.
KMTC requirements for Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics
To be eligible for admission, you need at least a KCSE mean grade of C minus, with D+ in biology, chemistry, English/Kiswahili, and a D plain in either mathematics, physics, home science, or agriculture.
