Diploma in Orthopaedic technology requirements & campuses
A Diploma in orthopaedic technology is a three year course offered in the department of orthopaedic technology.
The goal of this course is to train competent Orthopaedic technologists skilled in designing and fitting orthopaedic appliances i.e prosthetics, applying, adjusting, monitoring, and removal of casts from patients with injured/fractured bones, assisting orthopaedic surgeons during minor orthopaedic surgeries and management of fracture injuries.
KMTC requirements for Diploma in Orthopedic technology
- A KCSE mean grade of C plain or above
- C plain in English/Kiswahili
- C minus in Biology
- D plus in either technical drawing, mathematics, physics, woodwork, metal work, or chemistry.
